In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "A strange confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of banned practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden group.

The adventure concentrates on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Extra Content

Players who finish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana together with several artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
